At one time in my life I had every Roadstar II model from 1986. There were 19 of them IIRC. I was buying them for an average of $200 each in 2010-2012. Sold them all but 3 when I was unemployed for a time. I still have an RG110WH, an RG200WH (In pieces being restored), and an RG410BK, which had all its parts moved over to a body like the one in this video. The 3 that I have currently cost a total of $529 all together. Don't think I'll sell any of them. Great review!

Congrats, man. In my opinion, these are some of the best guitars ever made. I own about 11 or 12 different models from 83-86. In 87 they went to the pointy headstock, so either they were using leftover parts, or that is very early, like January 1987. Sounds amazing.

Dude CT: If I had 10,000 dollars I'd offer it to you right now. ha ha ha ha . I have a 1983 triple black Rodstar. Well worn - Very worn . I had a fret job done back in 1993. Took it on about 150 gigs nationwide. Played it on about100 jam nights here in L.A. in 2015--2018. Then a buddy dropped it - gotta re solder it now. Along with about 10 others. anyhow, cheers from L.A.

I bought one with dual humbuckers junior year of HS - rode my bike two towns over with cash in pocket because I didn't have my license yet. Loved that guitar. Should have never sold it but when you havnt eaten anything in four days - it's a powerful motivator and that was a lot of Popeyes Rice and beans 🤣 nice find enjoy! 🔥

Mam ten sam model w swojej kolekcji gitar w tym samym kolorze :) Z numeru seryjnego można odczytać, że wyprodukowana w 1987 roku. Gitara została zakupiona w Rzymie w 90 latach. Brzmi fantastycznie - daje bardzo rasowe brzmienie.

I have an 84 roadstar ii. It has 24 frets and the pro rock'r trem. Dual humbuckers. This one is a 1987, newer and 2 singles plus humbucker. Interesting.

I bought mine about 1987 new, but its white, its been an amazing guitar, and still is, but its been knocked over a few times at gigs years ago so needless to say it’s about to undergo a whole new look, going with a blue I think with a white pick guard.

I have the exact same guitar that I purchased new from Guitar Loft in Greensboro, NC in 1986 for $499 plus tax. It’s a beautiful, great playing guitar for sure. The bridge has hardened steel knife edge pivot points, but that’s about as high end as it gets for the bridge. The base is made of die-cast pot metal and I’ve seen others for sale with the bridge broken right where the knife edge joins the base. Mine is still good, but i take good care of my guitars. Mine needs a fret job and I’ll probably put jumbo frets on it.

How much did you pay for that beautiful guitar. I have a red ruby made 1986 accordingly to the serial number RG440 which I only pay 150.00 original case and price tag attached to the guitar. I posted a you tube video of my guitar. I wish someone can appraise these guitars. You cant find these guitars in this conditions. Love that guitar. If you ever wanted to sell it give me the opportunity. Would like to pair these two guitar’s together 😊

Do yourself a favor. Put it under a black light. The whole thing glows neon white. Super weird. Have the same color 1987.
