Was not the All Blacks in SA in 1986, it was the cavaliers, and don’t forget the All Blacks had a few players, that did not go on that Rebel tour, plus a completely different coaching and management team, that was way ahead of the Cavaliers Coaching and Management team.

Easy to forget what a revelation Michael Jones was back then. And David Kirk was a great halfback and captain. He didn't have a long carrier, because he had a proper job😊.

It was the South Africans fault. Before anyone rants and raves, I lived in SA in that period. I still have documents detailing what race I was.... can you believe a regime based in that, in our lifetime? So... it was a true WC, between all reasonable Rugby playing nations.
