I was there. It was that packed, I had to climb up a floodlight to see. In Neil Hanson's book 'Mud, Blood and Glory', Maurice Lindsay looked back on this match three years later and said he was proud of the fact that fans had stayed off the pitch at the end after the club had appealed to them not to invade it.The end of this game proves how Lindsay was full of shit.
