Easy enough to make it what you want. If I were to do any changes… I would probably pull the 6 speed gearbox and transfer case from a 2006 jeep rubicon.

I agree. I don't drive automatic transmissions. I have a 1985 Blazer. I put a gen III 5.3 votec engine and nv4500 5 speed manual transmission in it. First gear is a crawler gear and 5th gear is overdrive. You ain't really driving if you ain't rowing gears.
