All your hard work is paying off great work Seth. All the details and care makes it a mint build with the OEM finishing touches. Looking forward to the first start.

Thanks! I’m hoping it all comes together as I’ve sort of envisioned. It should be nearly a clone of my existing car.

Make sure to replace the O-Rings that sit under the rocker assembly. Or you will always get oil in the spark tubes regardless if you use a new valve gasket or not.

Hi Seth, How long is your yellow sling? Is it a tie sling or are there two slings? I think I will invest in a lifting crane to take out the B16A1.

Looking good Seth but wondering why you didn't sand clean or replace the washers under the acorn nuts for the valve cover. They look yellowish.
@crxseth2 жыл бұрын
They are brand new. They came with the new valve cover gasket I installed a couple months back. They are zinc coated.
@johntreanor22022 жыл бұрын
@@crxseth Ahhh I see... I had them on my last EG8 civic (as you know the gasket covers look near identical) but they were silver in colour but based on the condition you got the car in I thought it was dirty baked on oil or rust.
