I saw this on tv with my cousin when it aired. We couldn’t believe how these guys were able to do this. I remember us talking about how long the drop was and how long their wheels left the ground on the way down. This race was what made me get into riding bikes later (started with an ‘89 XR 80 and then graduated to an RM 80). RJ to me is still the best ever.

Glover was one of the most solid winningest riders in the sport. All those years winning at Yamaha and they just kicked him to the curb. Not even a ride home after this final race.

I wish either # 23 micky diamond would of won. Or # 21. Doug dubac. . Even team Kawasaki Ron L. Still a great race. . That first turn crash was exciting and wicked. .

suppose you were at work and the bikes are at home. now at this juncture i have broken a mirror in about 35 shards glued to a board and a piece of electrical tape inside sunglasses over 1 eye watching at some junction
