The Soviet women's volleyball is legendary! Smirnova, Sidorenko, Parhomshuk, Ogienko, Nikulina and Ovchinnikova are the legends in the history of women's volleyball!

At 57.26, Nikolai Karpol calls Marina Nikulina as Masha (which is Mariya in Russian but not Marina). The late Marina Nikulina-Pankova is the mother of the Russian men's national team's setter, Pasha Pankov! Nikulina played both libero and setter in the Soviet and Russian national teams!
