The guy who did the Community Calander isn't this guy. That guy has the more straight forward current General American accent (and he could have been from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, New York accent may appear neutral but there's a certain evil-sounding quality; the guy sounds like a nice warm guy, and he just sounds serious; there isn't that evil establishment New York accent). And he has a more Rolland Smith-type seriousness to him. Ted Mallie has a Transatlantic accent.

Ted Mallie had to have been born in the 1930s. He has the Transatlantic Accent when he says "performance." No insult but he did not sound young in the 80s. He sounded like he was in 50s. No insult intended. As I think aging is a nice thing. Youth is not everything. But I say that mostly because of the Transatlantic accent, which this guy has. Mankind ruined that when Adam ate the apple.
