A 1989Batman.com EXCLUSIVE! To promote the release of Batman, Warner Brothers created an audio/ video press kit cassette for distribution to major network & TV programs. The cassette included a behind-the-scenes featurette, cast & crew interviews, trailers & film clip segments, and B-Roll footage. Networks & TV production companies would select the segments they wished to use & edit them into their programs. The tape was never intended for public viewing, and has been seen by very few over the last 2 decades.
Now... To celebrate Batman's 25th Anniversary- 1989Batman.com & Thorsten Lehmann bring you the 1989 Batman Audio/ Video Press Kit in its entirety! That is bizarre that there are 3 dislikes. It's a great video. I can almost guarantee the down votes are from the people on certain Batman forums who had this footage already and have been keeping it secret for years. There's one guy who posted the 5 seconds of the speargun working and said "I can't post any more of the video. I swore I would never release it or where it came from. I can only show this much blah blah blah". It's ridiculous.

This is very intereresting! I find it an unusual choice to have the narrator's voice only come out of the right channel! I love the press materials and media associated with a movie, especially an exeptional movie.

What a great behind-the-scenes video of Batman 1989. How many secrets behind the creation process, right? Do you know who it is, the voice of the narrator who was on this show promoting the movie through behind the scenes? yes my dear friends. I tell them and if they did not guess, I also tell them. the voice of the narrator is nothing more and nothing less than that of the great Stan Lee, you know him, right? They will already know who the man was. as the video is very old the audio is not heard well but I recognize the voice of that man. not you?

619taken It was Warner Brothers. They wanted to sell more toys and to broaden the audiences to pump up the box offices. They asked Burton to do something else and hired Schumacher and turned Keaton's Batman into a Clowney one.
