Well here it is, Another video on the 1989 CR500 project. This is an update to let everyone know i am still working on the project. As well you get to see a bunch of new parts. Some parts put on the frame, and some info as to what the near future holds for the shop.

Your knowledge, skill and attention to detail is outstanding, lots of things to address with engine but done properly, anyone fortunate enough to own any of your finished bikes is a lucky individual

Looks awesome so far just seen this today, i had an 1988 CR500 in the day, bought it brand new, i need another CR500...thanks for the video. Cheers from Canada.

Just picked up a 1987 yz125. I am all in on trying to restore it. Not sure how to begin. I am going to be watching a lot of your videos for sure.

Just finished watching RRCs 250 restoration and looking forward to watching this one.....while my 92 250 remains in boxes where i doubt it will ever get done now.

It worked well but it was much stiffer than the back end after needed to do something about that.

Yes Too many of the parts were not restorable, resulting in a lot of new parts required. The exchange rate from cad to usd kills the budget as well.

Nice work. What was the powder coat RAL paint code you went with?

It is prismatic color match to fighting red. The lighting in.my shop does not do it justice.

Really need to get a mic closer to you. It's very annoying to have the volume go up and down. It's hardly watchable when you are sitting far from the mic. Sounds like you're inside a toilet.

I will get a mic when i start the new builds next year. there wont be much talking in the last two videos of this build.

@@TNTMOTO you could also just get an old phone and put it next to you to record the audio and drop that in on the edit. I've seen a lot of content makers do that
