1989 MCI 102C3: Getting ready for spring. March wrap-up

I have found that when I have too many projects on my plate ... I will run around in circles, addressing each one as time will allow (multi-tasking). However, as I do so; the effective "length" of each task is greatly multiplied. Something that might have taken three hours ... gets completed only after a month or two has passed. Meanwhile, in the dark recess of my mind (back in the area where light rarely shines, and there is dampness and the annoying sound of dripping water) the LIST of unfinished tasks always haunts me. I don't often get that satisfying Dopamine reward, for a job completed well. In my humble experience, I have noticed that when I force myself to stick to a designated task; completing it before moving on to the next item on the endless LIST ... I smile more often, as the warm glow of accomplishment illuminates the "dungeon" in my mind's basement, for a few glorious minutes. Anyone else feel this way? (If you have ADHD, just go ahead and raise your hand.)

Hey Aaron my name is Brian I saw Garry's video where your bus broke down Brother my heart goes out to you I was asking him how it was working out and he turned me on to you channel your bus sounds great after the rebuild and boy she's quite going down the road too. Glad she's up and running I've got an 84 MC9 and in the process of converting it Hope it turns out as nice as your someday. Anyway thanks for sharing And glad I found your channel small world I see Shawn commenting on here also he's a good guy and a fun channel to watch. Be safe out there.

She was so excited to get a chance to do some bus camping after I had it down for repairs. Now to find some interesting destinations for the summer time.

I just picked up the 4 tires I need (ive got 4 that are older than my kids). I should get them put on and be able to do a good shakedown drive since my 12v conversion. Glad to see you back to working on it. Camping season is here.

Man, that 102C3 sounds real good! Really enjoyed the ride! What engine and transmission are you running, Detroit 8V92 and Allison HT750? 1st and 2nd gear sound like that of an HT740, but after that, I noticed the RPM drops when shifting was not as much as that of an HT740 (the HT740 is my all-time favorite Allison transmission, I might add). Would be awesome if you could do more driving videos on this amazing bus you got there!

So it runs well after the new heads ? I'd watch the coolant and oil level like a hawk because the liner O Rings are also known to leak on those engines. If the lower O Ring leaks you'll get coolant in the oil just like you did previously.

That's the plan, runs good and I am always monitoring it on a regular basis
