I am from northeast Ohio, and I was born in September 1973. Now that I have been fifty for a few months, I have found myself wanting to take a look back at when things were better and to my liking, and the 1980's gave us plenty of great memories and great things to enjoy. Great channel. You should consider taking all your photos of models and putting together an historical book explaining what things were like back then. I know I’d buy it. It would also be Interesting to learn what happened to all these models.

I've thought about creating a book called "Beauties and the Beach" and fill it with models I've photographed along with scenic pictures of all the beaches I've travelled to on surfing trips. The problem is making the cost of publishing less than the retail price so there is some profitability. I made a 120 page photo book featuring almost 20 years of my coverage of the Rolex 24 race at Daytona. I included pictures of around 170 drivers and placed them in a way you could get their autograph next to their pic in a clear space. It took me just over two years to collect 162 of the 170 and they include some of the greatest drivers in history. I was going to sell them to other race fans but my " break even " price was $100. I sold a total of 4 at $100 so no profit but I liked the idea of someone having as much fun as I did going to the races and trying to get autographs of the drivers in the book.

I often get the comment as to " where are they now " and while it would be interesting, I don't think many if any would consent to having pictures or video of them showing how much they have aged since they were 20. With that being said and the wonder of social media, I've been in contact with several of the models that appear in these videos. Most have aged very gracefully and are just an older version of their 20 year old self. All of them really enjoyed seeing my old videos of their younger self and that's another reason I keep putting up my old stuff and before anyone asks, I won't be sharing anyone's social media.

But her stature and physique were just NO MATCH for others even remotely! So pity, she didn't win, but she was an absolute Queen! Hope, her life went well anyway!😇

God I miss the eighties. Women had sense enough not to disfigure themselves with tattoos. I've always thought that a beautiful woman shouldn't put a tattoo on her body for the exact same reason that you wouldn't spraypaint graffiti on the Parthenon or the Taj Mahal -- no matter how brilliantly done the picture is, on something that was so intrinsically beautiful to start with, it's not an embellishment; it's a distracting blemish.

Unfortunately I never got to see her at work but I did go to the original Foxy Boxing / Mud Wrestling at the Tropicana in Hollywood, CA back in 1984. Later in the 80s the Nightclub "Summers" on Ft Lauderdale Beach had Foxy Boxing and Oil Wrestling and they let me record video a few nights. The girls from the Tropicana were touring the country with their show and got booked at a nightclub in my hometown of which I was the nightclub's photographer. I covered the various musical acts they booked and the occasional off beat traveling troupes which included the girls from Hollywood. The Foxy Boxer's manager even paid me to cover the event for their own promotional purposes. I could probably make a very interesting video telling that story with the pictures and video I have from those three experiences with the Boxers / Oil Wrestlers but I'd have to leave a lot out to make it on YT Ha!

@@onephotographerslife yeah. I've seen a lot of the 80s and 90s foxy boxing/wrestling material (videos and print magazines) on the internet over the years and it always seemed entertaining. I never got to see it live because I was a kid at the time. Being as the place where the bikini contestant in your video boxed was Treasure Island (which apparently is a still existing strip club in Miami) I assume she and the girls at her club boxed topless in the little mini Everlast shorts. Which is always very sexy to see. And to your last point even a censored video of that old foxy boxing and mud wrestling material you have would be cool. A lot of people would enjoy it as much as your 80s/90s bikini contest footage.

I think the way 12 talked in the interview hurt her chances. She stumbled when asked about what beer she drinks and kinda got an attitude when the crowd laughed. Conversely 9 gave and delivered a great answer which promoted the sponsor and probably helped her win. I would've replaces 6th place with number 10 or maybe 12.

What I don't understand is why she was reluctant to pose when her flexing got a big cheer when she walked on. Saying she didn't drink and giving the crowd a bit of a talking to🤦‍♂ - just lie and tell the sponsors what they want to hear!🤣 I hope she did better in body building but I don't see anything online Lynne Mann? Lyn Mann? Lynne Manning?

​@@Drdee1 Her reluctance to pose was another negative. The Emcee did a great job of asking questions relative to each contestant allowing them the chance to give answers familiar to them. Asking her to pose was the perfect opportunity for her to shine at what she aspired to be, a bodybuilder. It was puzzling why she acted like posing was such a inconvenience. It was her time to shine. Fitness was gaining popularity around that time and I needed models like her. I wanted to talk to her after the contest but her beach chair was gone and I couldn't find her. BTW she also appears at 6:25 8:02 and 32:03 I don't know her name other than what we can hear on this video.
