its the phantom. Been down for 11 months and its back ---Runs 14-15psi fwd i snapped in the middle of racing the front bracebar that attaches to the trans mount with the engine torge.it was originally welded so we drilled 6-3/4" bolts through the frame and it holds. then shortly afterwards the steering collum snapped in half while racing so it took us 11 months to figure out how to replace it with another model lebaron which doesnt come with blinkers or the right harness on the collum.When we cut off the other harness it effected the brake lights so were trying to fix it.

Needs a few stick on "vents" and maybe a few scoops, and a few more "Turbo" badges to make it really go fast.

that's the biggest turd I've ever seen in my life. taking out the a.c doesn't make your car gutted. it's not clean at all with black spray paint and turbo stickers all over it. that cold air intake has more leaks than a paper bag nd is sucking in hot air. probably not even boosting properly plus those gauges don't even work. smh

with what he said in the video "totalled twice, wrecked 7 times...." and the overspray under the hood, the rattlecan paint job, the single walmart seat cover, and his excessive use of the phrase "mother fucker" all i can think is this is the result of a bunch of potheads with too much time on their hands

Huh. Pretty sweet van engine you got there mate. 1989 2.5 liter Turbo I with the SMEC engine management. Mitsubishi turbo blowing straight into a 1-piece TII style intake manifold. Has balance shafts stock, as well as really short-skirted pistons to get 2.5 liters out of the Common Block. Cast crank, forged rods, Mahle cast aluminum pistons. Really strong motor, will take a lot of boost. That A413 automatic transaxle is prolly your weak link. They need heavy mods to take 250+ horsepower.

put it about 2 and a half inches away from the flux capasitor because it utilizes less gigawats to open up the BOV, if you do this youll get about 14-15 psi, if you dont do the 2 and a half inches youll push about 2-3 psi making about 500 cat power thats about 500000 horsefly power and about 50000000000 sperm cell power, but do the 2/half inch away from the flux capasitor and youll make about 1 trillion horse power :) hope this helps

Cool! They were great cars in their day. Owned several all the way from the Turbo I in 1986 (142 - 146 bhp), the the Turbo II VNT (174 bhp) to the 16 v inter-cooled Turbo III (224 bhp). They would smoke many V8s in those days. They were also very reliable the turbo bearing was water cooled so they seldom failed.

Bro you painted the intake and valve cover? Its hideous and did you really need to steal every part from a local parts shop. I wonder if that cold air pipe is long enough 🤔 poor people are the best 👌

Amazing job man ! i m having problems with the same engine, black smoke, car doesnt seem to take off.. IT feels really heavy.. I would apreciate any tip about it... Thank you : )

that's not a cold air intake. it is breathing hot under hood air with this setup and doing no good. A true "cold air" would be taking the air from outside the engine compartment for "cold air" the original setup was really taking air from behind the headlight which was in front of the radiator core support, which is external of the engine compartment.

damnit.. can i have that motor!? lol.. my car has the same motor but a 2.5L Non-turbo! it runs great fresh rebuild.. looks good but just needs more power.. nice motor by the way man and love the bass videos!
