Garden State Elevators I have a childhood lift too! It's a 1970s OTIS Lexan in NYC & it's 3 floors. I forgot if it's traction or hydraulic since the last time I rode that lift was when I was 11 years old. But my teenhood lifts are the famous glass lifts in the embassy suites hotel in Secaucus. My adulthood lifts will most likely be in Clinton Township.

Zack Cacciapalle I know it did. The mod actually only took literally not even two weeks to complete. Service elevator #4 is getting a FULL MODERNIZATION and started on September 31st and may even be done by now but I’m not exactly sure and I think elevator #4 is even getting the actual elevator car itself replaced. Excel Elevator Corp. (a third party elevator & escalator maintenance company in NJ & NY) did a very good job on this mod because the motor is original and I think this is still on the original Dover controller too. Elevator #4 may be a complete replacement like possibly even new BRAILLE plates on the jambs. This elevator only had a slap on mod and a redone interior cab, while elevator #4 is being possibly close to a complete replacement.

@@GardenStateElevators Why did they mod this? It ran fine. I also have childhood memories on this elevator. Is there a way to get to the rest of the service elevators that still have Impulse?

@@zackcacciapalle6405 Yeah, i wonder why they modded this amazing elevator, the new one is pretty good, but i prefer the Dover. But we can't get it back now, this new elevator is here for good.
