I hope you have more from Christmas of 1990 (cbs). I was 4 going on 5. Christmas time was full of magic, less greed and there was peace on Earth. Thank you for uploading these commericals. I had these on the very same tape who was lost when I moved years ago. My mom taped the I love lucy color christmas special, charlie brown, frosty and santa c is coming to town. I sure hope you can find the rest of the commercials. The 90s was an awesome time to be a kid! :)

That Kodak commercial brings back memories... paints a powerful message in picture and song... I think that needs to brought back this holiday season.... I was 10 when this aired, when Christmas was joyful instead of greedy....

Oh I do agree with you completely. Though I was only 1 when these commercials were recorded, I still appreciate these commercials, particularly the McDonald's commercials and the CBS Special Presentation bumper. Even into the mid '90s, Christmas still seemed very special and more fun. Don't get me wrong, Christmas in the '00s is still fun, but the '90s were so much better. Nowadays, McDonald's doesn't even show/make Christmas commercials anymore!

My favorite is Garfield as always! Love the one for Rescue 911 as well! Ahhh how I miss these old commercials! The ones out nowadays (Holiday or otherwise) suck!

Things should go back to the simpler days like this. I remember siting in front of the T.V. late at night at my Grandma's while watching this stuff XD

There are som really weird newsbreaks in this commercial collection. "A baby takes a trip thru an airport xray machine" and "find some charms against death." What the hell were you watching, Retro Reese?=)

Agreed. I was just having the same convo with my cousin. It's sad how fast Christmas went from being a joyful, loving holiday to nothing but greedy and money hungry commercial items. Sure, back in the day so many businesses had commercials for the season, but it wasn't really about the product.

Man that Home Alone commercial brings back memories.

I wish that they still made TV spots like the ones for Home Alone (funny and to the point ones).

I remember this past Christmas (and other recent years), there were absolutely no McDonald's Christmas commercials! It's really depressing to see Ronald McDonald, Grimace, and the whole gang have been minimized to such low priorities these days.

Just looked up the episode list and apparently the I Love Lucy Christmas special was largely a clip-show with the non-flashback parts being in color.

4:19 I Love Lucy in COLOR? Did CBS hire someone that was working alongside Ted Turner (who at that point had become infamous for his "colorized" versions of classic black and white movies on his varied cable networks) during Turner's failed takeover attempt of CBS?
