One of the best looking late 80s cars. Timeless design, elegant lines without any frills. It reminds me of the BMW E34. We don't have many Maximas left in Europe sadly. Most of them were probably shipped to North Africa. I recently reread a German article from a few years ago full of appreciation for this car. Guy purchased a light blue one (probably my favorite paintjob for any 90s car) with 80k miles for 500€ (540$) which is really a steal considering this thing is really capable even for today's standards/Autobahn standards. No need to hide in the outside lane. You could get at least 10 Maximas for the price of a Mercedes 300E with pretty much the same specs. I looked up online car markets afterwards but didn't find a single one for sale. I love the automatic seatbelts. Interesting idea, sadly they weren't a big thing here.

One of my uncles had this exact car; same color and everything. I loved the sound of that car. It's funny, after he crashed the Maxima he went out and bought a dark green 1995 Legend sedan.

I had a 1992 SE 5spd,same color...i wish still had it,the most fun to drive sedan i've ever owned...thank god i still have my 2002 Pathfinder SE 4X4 5 speed,the most fun to drive SUV i ever drove ! 😁

I miss my maxima I had 1990 GXE as a first car when I was younger I loved it but it died since the car was abused before I had it , and I wasn't that much mechanically inclined and I was too broke to go to a mechanic. The rev notes it had were just beautiful even in the shape it was in. Its hard to find manual ones in good condition where I live. You have a beautiful car. Legends are pretty nice too I had a 94 sadly I had to let it go because the seller who sold it to me hid the fact that it had a blown head and I found out a couple of weeks later when doing a fluid check. Its nice to see one still running and in pretty good condition.

Total classic, loved mine! I had a ‘92 with the SE, VQ and 4 speed automatic. Car was drag limited to 145, but never had the guts to try. Would’ve loved finding this in a stick.

Me too. I ordered my ‘92 SE with every option back in January 1992. Black/black. I made the mistake of getting an automatic. That 24 valve engine begged for a 5 speed. Traded it for a ‘92 Legend LS sedan 5 speed in May 1994. When I went to pick up my plates, I found that the Acura dealer detailed my maxima and put it on the showroom floor.

Just love the white front blinkers. I have a 1990 3000V6 manual with orange blinkers and wonder if i can get a hand on white ones and will it fit..? Nice car, never want to sell it, even when she is in bad shape.
