Through watching the early season episodes of this show recently, Ridge-Caroline has retroactively become one of my favorite soap couples ever. And it’s totally through the intangible, otherworldly chemistry between the 2 actors Ron Moss and Joanna Johnson. Chemistry can’t be manufactured, forced, or replicated. Along with excellent writing, It’s specifically these 2 actors together that resulted in all of the entertaining, intense, passionate scenes between Ridge and Caroline during the show’s formative early seasons. For some reason, I like that it’s only Ridge and Caroline up there with no groomsmen or bridesmaids. Just them alone in a perfect setting and ceremony.

I honestly don’t believe Ridge would have cheated on Caroline had she lived longer. I think a reason he cheats on his future wives is because they simply don’t mean to him as much as Caroline did. I randomly watched some episodes in later seasons after Caroline’s death and Ridge seems unhappy and jaded in a lot of them. I think her death still weighed on him years later. No other woman could measure up to Caroline as far as Ridge was concerned.

You can try your best to advocate for Caroline but I have established my logical observation of Caroline two decades ago! Caroline may have had some whirls about her but she was far from perfect. Brooke was not always a dark person. If people want to talk about how Brooke is a slut and how and all the other reasons for not liking her consider what forced her to become the monster that she was and is. Ridge was a flat out play boy he is the one that ran in pursuit of Brooke first who happened to resist his advances towards her. I can recall a scene of Brooke Logan sitting in a bar having a drink minding her own business waiting for her fiancé while Ridge was across the room undressing Brooke with his eyes having fantasies of having sex with her while he was engaged to Caroline! And eventually a cat and mouse game begin between the two of them. When Brooke eventually caved in they dated a while before they even slept together Ridge took Brooks virginity. She found herself falling madly in love with him and wanted a life with him. But because Ridge had a mother who still harbored a hatred for Brooke’s mother unfortunately Brooke caught the rebottle of that hatred. Brooke wasn’t the one doing all the spiteful things at first it was Caroline. Ridge had wrote her a letter people sit here and lie and say Brooke didn’t give Caroline the letter. Yes she did. Caroline read the letter knowing how rich felt she still chose to marry his brother. Ridge planned out alive for his then pregnant fiancé Brooke and then all of a sudden Caroline was having a change of heart being with Thorne. Caroline was the first woman in Ridge life that look like she would have inherited the reputation of keeping it in the family. Caroline was the one that was playing games along with Ridge. To be quite honest I could never take their relationship serious and neither could anyone else with common sense and logical reasoning. At least Brooke knew what she wanted she fell in love with Ridge and she decided that was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with but she was denied that time again because Stephanie had a deep hatred against the Logans. So when she couldn’t be with Ridge unfortunately she tried to look for love in other places. And let’s stop pretending that ridge didn’t play a part in the tragic life of Brooke. Damn near every relationship Brooke has gotten into Ridge sabotage those relationships. Well he had a nerve to have a family of his own with Taylor or even when he was with Caroline. It was OK for Ridge do have a wife and family but he always wanted to selfishly keep Brooke available just in case things didn’t work out with his current relationships the real selfish whore has always been Ridge. But of course people want to continue to keep this bullshit tradition of always blaming the woman and shaming the woman. When you understand the situation at hand, Brooke is the least to blame in the situation! So you can save your comments. I know the truth about how all this happened and I see the situation for exactly what it is.

They have the big plans with Caroline, and Caroline it should be the center of the soap, But she left the show... In one interview he said that when Joanna decided to left the show, Caroline must die. Because it was impossible to separate Caroline from Ridge now when they finally married and so in love. I'm curious, why is Brooke so dead set on getting revenge on Stephanie, I mean Ridge choose Caroline, I don't see how Stephanie had anything to do it, shouldn't she be angry with Caroline or Ridge. Can someone explain that to me?

Did you watch the same show as I did. Rigde chose Caroline and Taylor over Brooke for over a decade. Caroline were first. Brooke abd throne gut in the way. Stephanie did not create that situation. And stephanie did not want rigde and Taylor together at first. She actually fought her and wanted rigde with brooke. And the thing with Eric hurted her mother way more than stephanie. She actually broke her mother's heart with this. Maybe the forrester men went on there knees, but never stephanie. She never backed down to Brooke. She was and still is no matriarch, not if the Forresters or the Logans. And she broke her own family. She went through her mother's ex flame, his two sons, her own daughters husband and boyfriend, and her sisters husband. No matriarch or real woman with dignity and class would do that. I'm sure Beth must have been so proud of homewrecker and slut, brooke Logan. 🤦🏼‍♀️😅🤣 No way. Brooke tore apart her own family and many others. What a disgusting human being, she always was and still is.

Since she did not want Ridge and Caroline together since she was afraid Thorne would remember he shot Ridge. May be her motives were not sincere, but during Brooke's stay with Ridge for 90% of the time Stephanie was in favor of that. Ridge and Caroline met resistance from Thorne, Brooke and after the shooting from Eric and Stephanie too. When all was in the open Ridge ultimately chose Caroline over Brooke by his own will without being influenced. And yes Stephanie was not nice to Brooke since Brooke hid the letter Ridge sent to Caroline. Although Thorne suggested it Brooke performed the theft, but the major cause was that Brooke fully supported Eric and Beth and pretended towards the other Forresters including Stephanie she was unaware. This hit a nerve with Stephanie and that initiated the fued. Thirdly after all this Brooke bluntly moved into Stephanie's home. Surely Ridge invited her, but since Eric moved out at the time Stephanie was the owner of the house. If Brooke had some reserves she would be more modest and humble about moving in and get to know Ridge and the family first (as Stephanie even suggested in the beginning when still neutral). But no Brooke was way too eager and acted out entitled to have the right to live there in Stephanie's eyes. I doubt if Brooke (or her lovers) would be in such position they would have met a girl like that with warmth and welcoming feelings only. I think not, Stephanie schemed too after people tried to do that to her, but in way more sophisticated manner than was done later with similar fights.
