I replaced all 4 shocks on my 34 year old Trail Indy. I also show where I installed a small set screw to keep the collars in place on the rear skid.

I always preferred the twins in the Indy’s. In high school one of my friends had an ’85 600 Indy. He loved it but I never cared for it. It felt heavy, steered heavy and I wasn’t all that impressed with the power. It had good power but I liked the power of my 500 Indy and the Trail Indy I had before it. Thanks for watching my video! 😀

I've had good luck with Kimpex, they get a bad rap but I've never had any unexpected issues.

That’s good to hear! Hopefully these last for years and years like the stock shocks did. I don’t hold Kimpex in particularly high regard but I also don’t hate them. They seemed like good quality on the outside and I really liked the price. For what I use the machine for I don’t need performance just reliability and maintenance free. I’ve got a number of performance sleds with gas shocks and I get tired of spending money on the maintenance those shocks require. Even if you just have the sled stored away long term they seem to eventually bleed down their gas charge.
