1990年我還是在廣州讀小學，1990香港小姐競選結果一出來廣州滿大街已經有新當選港姐的貼紙相賣，也有同年的亞洲小姐。當時覺得袁詠儀是超靚的，比吳琦莉漂亮得多，當時想不明白爲什麽亞洲小姐選了個大媽樣的當冠軍。但過後幾年，袁詠儀艷光慢慢消退，尤其是拍了金枝玉葉之後就差很多了。她是美色消退得厲害的。另一個李美鳳也是。
