Anybody remember Nano Pets? The Tamagotchi craze had created a few competitors and one of them was Nano Pets. I remember getting one with a cat and I enjoyed playing with it. Until I realized that if you missed one day of playing the tiny thing, the pet would "run away" and the game would reset. It was frustrating.

My parents wouldn't let me have a Tamagotchi and I found a Nano Pet in the trash one day, so I had to keep it and somehow despite not being able to care for it while at home, it thrived for longer than I anticipated. Looking back, I laugh at how those things were, for my friends and I, probably one of the first forms of addiction to a digital medium of entertainment that was conveniently small enough to carry around and be available at all times.

I was a 90's kid, but I never saw the spring water for Cats and Dogs. I can see why it flopped lol. Most pets are happy drinking water from a puddle or the toilet, even though we give them a fresh bowl of water at least once a day, multiple times a day for me. Mine probably wouldn't have liked that spring water anyways. Animals are kind of picky when it comes to flavored things.

I bought them again in 2014 and have been wearing them ever since. I can’t believe I went 20 years without them. I still have that Brooke Shields issue of Cosmopolitan. I moved from mid KY to Detroit in 99, and my family was in the Cincinnati area. I came home almost every weekend. My F-150 had 2 tanks, and gas on the high side, by the interstate was .99 a gallon. I could afford to fill both tanks in those days. And I paid cash for my 3-year-old truck, that was beautiful, for 1500.00. Thanks for another great video.

One thing from the '90s that I'm sure hardly anyone else remembers is a line of grape juices put out by Earnest & Julio Gallo. They were made from ( un-fermented ) wine grapes, and I really liked the different flavors ( there were three, though I can't remember which grapes they were from; I'm not a wine drinker ). Unfortunately, they only came in weird "carafe"-style bottles that were about 2/3 the size of a standard juice bottle, and about twice as expensive, so I didn't get to enjoy very many before they were cancelled.

We had a WebTV setup in the late 90s. It was a cheap way to surf the internet. It may be laughable by today's standards, but back then, computers were still expensive, so this was a good alternative. I shelved it around 2002 and reactivated it briefly in 2010-2011 as MSNTV as temporary internet at our cabin.

6:04 when this car came out I did a research paper on it for my science class in high school. I remember telling everyone they were going to be mass produced and replace gas cars in our lifetime. I told them the government would off tax breaks and other incentives to buy electric vehicles. My teacher knew I was right but my classmates laughed and scoffed at the idea…

At one point I had to do a paper on what I thought the future would be like, and I remember saying that personal computers would stop being so popular, and people would start subscribing to "Computing" as a utility. My version was basically that everyone would have dumb terminals in their homes, and all the processing and storage would be handled remotely by a mainframe. You would simply buy server time. Now with mobile internet and cloud computing more or less dominating the landscape, I'd say I was pretty much bang on target.

Born in '89 and first car I owned was a 1992 red Pontiac Sunbird convertible, it had the 3.1L v6 with a 5 speed manual, paid $1250 cash in 2013, a considerable amount of money after having graduated high school into the great recession, and owned it for 2 years while I attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. I became the popular one and attracted lots of young females driving in the summer with the top down and wearing aviator sunglasss 😅, and brought back childhood memories of the Chevy cavalier, Oldsmobile Cutless and fox body mustang all of which were fairly popular convertibles in the area I grew up in, even into my high school years.
