Hi, I'm telling you that I was in a gallery window shopping, and suddenly I found this very cheap guitar, and it caught my attention since in my case it's a sunburst color... I bought it and realized that it was in very good condition (except because of the strings and some dust)... Then I saw that they had changed the bridge pickup for a white humbucker... I don't know what brand it is, but it doesn't sound bad at all (and they must have changed it for something I suppose). .. I took it to a Luthier who cleaned it, oiled it, calibrated it and changed the strings... and although it is far from being my best guitar (a very nice Fender), the Samik doesn't sound bad at all... It's fine to learn, but learn with good sound... I was happy and I wonder what year it is or what it comes from (India? Indonesia? Korea?)... Anyway, if you know more, I'll appreciate it... Regards and great channel

Mine is from Indonesia. I’m pretty certain it is early 90s because of the electronics used, but there is no serial number to date mine. Usually the date is the first digit or two of the serial.
