1991 4x4 Chevy S-10 2 Years Not Ran!

My dad had this exact truck and gave it to me when I turned 16. I fuckin loved it, so much fun. It pulled a duelie out of the mud that was pretty stuck. Coolest dash turn signal ever!!

i had a 1985 s10 2.8 that sat untouched for 15 years when i got all i did was put a battery and gas in it and it fired right up, thats why i love s10's they last for ever.

Same motor as 350 just missing 2 cylinders. Same bore and stroke. Still used today by GM and makes 300 hp with direct injection

Well, they didn't come that way, it was optional, and only from 89-93 on the trucks. One more year, 94, on the Blazer.

My dad's truck sounds exactly like that but no muffler rattle and the starting sound is a more medium raspy sound. More like "eh shshsshshshsshshs" then this motor sound lol. My dad's is a 92 around the same year but really it was made in December 91. Drove it today with my mom to the warehouse. Enjoyed driving it. My dad's truck looks like this but yellow with a plastic grill and black back metal bumper. Has a cage protecting the headlights, with 3 black horizontal decal stripes on the side. More of like a 90s design when my dad bought the truck in 96. Has 191,700 miles on it doesn't burn oil. The transmission fluid is clean and hasn't been replaced since 97. It's a shock but it doesn't need a transmission fluid change. The fluid on it looks fantastic.

My first car was s 91 s10 blazer. It had a bad oil leak and bad rings but it was still reliable.

you will be very lucky to find one, they are kinda rare. and yes its normal for the guage to be high, just make sure it doesnt drop.

I have a GMC S-15 Sierra Classic 4x4, 4.3 TBI short cab/short bed it...my stepdad bought it new in 90 and the truck has 381,000 miles...no ticks or knocks or leaks...i drive it daily and would take it anywhere. He ordered it with the digi dash too..love this little truck and the GMC 4x4's are just as rare :)

sweet i have a 1991 s10 4x4 extended cab 4.3 v6 like that one mine is white and i just put a 2.5 inch suspension lift and some 31's inch tires

I like that digital gadge cluster on that. I wish my 87 had that. Their nice little trucks, my not be the top of the line vehicles, the prettiest I still like my second favorite vehicle ever made second in line with the first gen Chevy camaro.

I wish chev made the digital clusters for a few more years. I got a 95 s10 4x4 that I want to buy a new cluster for because it doesn't have a tachometer. maybe there are some good after market ones

Does anyone know if a digital dash like that, could be installed in a older 89' S10? Also should the oil pressure be that high? I just got my S10, First of the 3 vehicles I've owned that actually has an oil pressure gauge on it. I'm still learning about the truck, sorry for any stupid questions. x3

i put a digital cluster on my s10 its a 92 model but i got mine off of ebay if your interested just message me i will send you the ebay link that i got mine from but they are refurbished mine had a little scratch on the top nothing major.

Did the digital display come stock, or did you swap it out? If so, what model and year did you pull it from? I just bought the 91 extended cab and the cluster is the first thing I want to replace. Thanks for posting this video, and reassuring me of a good buy!

The digital was a factory option from 89-93. It's not custom.

I have a 1991 4x4 s10 ext cab with the digital cluster.. my speedometer quit working. I replaced the dash cluster.. didn't help, bought new bulbs...did work. Any ideas?
