rank was present in compile games since zanac, it's probably that founders of raizing from compile knew a thing or two about it. (like director of garegga, Mr. Nakashima) as far as I know, there was no rank in recca. I wonder why the compile involvement and legacy in garegga is considered nonexistent unlike mr. Yagawa's.

this is true the player here TKG has great skill and this game is very difficult to master the game raises rank by the more you fire so the key to survival here is to fire a lot less and just shoot when enemies are on screen. Your goal here should be to be accurate.

このゲーム、自機が案外弱くて辛かったです。 見た目かっこいいのに。

敵弾や体当たりで一発死なのはSTGでは当たり前だけど、自機の移動を先読みして弾撃ってくる敵に対して あの移動速度では結構避けづらいよね。それとタイトーのSTGはショットが雷電のバルカンみたいに拡散しないタイプが多い気がする。

@@momihog 様 その拡散しない攻撃もあるけど、この自機の弱いところはショットの幅は広がるが、敵に当たらない部分の弾までヒット扱いになってその場で消えてしまう。 つまりどんなにパワーアップしても事実上｢前方に１発の弾｣を撃つのが変わらないってこと。

Renegaiden this game and Battle Garegga have different developers but the programmer of BG stated that Gun frontier was one of his favorites titles. So he took his inspiration from Gun frontier to create BG with identical mechanics. For me it is not wrong to consider this game as the ancestor of BG’s gameplay since there’s no others vertical shooters have similar gameplay to it at that time besides BG
