I have a 1988 Eldorado Biarittz and absolutely love it, White on white with maroon leather and the moon roof,,, snowflake rims and a bose stereo,,,, the power antenna goes up and down on the rear quarter panel,,,, Cornering lamps light up at night and talk about the head and tail light monitors,,,, The mirror on the windsheild tilts when cars approach from the rear and the outter keyholes light up at night when I enter the car,,,,, where do find cars like this,,,, not in europe,,, I get tons of comments on my Cadillac and at 35 years old to boot,,,, I'll keep my Cadillac Thank You.

Wow. Always forget about the precursor to CVRSS suspension (which came out in 93) in the form of CCC or Computer Command Control. Basically a gussied up active FE3 suspension utilizing a lot of the same tech that made it into CVRSS. Very neat to see that perform. This suspension is LONG NLA (no longer available) so if you want this car to act like this video, you have to get one with extremely low miles unfortunately. Same goes for anything CVRSS1.0 or 2.0 (97+ Deville Concours/2000+ Deville DTS, 97+ Eldorado, 98+ Seville)

They were good cars. I liked this model better than todays cars. Soft seats. Who cares about bolsters. I’m not racing it. It’s a Caddie and a nice soft controlled ride is what I want. Go back to the 70s and make a Caddie like that and better paint and body and brake improvements and that’s all you need. God how I hate these new ones.

It looked pristine, the dash and leather looked perfect. You can tell the roof panel is dented from attaching the huge figure, and yeah the unibody was probably ruined from the jump stunts. I suppose having been filmed 5 or 6 years ago most likely in California, a near 30 year old GM coupe could be pristine and also worthless. Plus, malfunctioning, irreplaceable CVRSS components could legit mechanically total even a visually perfect one. It hurt more to see it destroyed than the Fiero or ZX2 in their various other videos.

I don't think I'll ever understand how "touring" is supposed to connote a more performance-oriented version of a luxury car. If anything, it should imply an even cushier ride, as it kind of does in the "GT" distinction when it comes to the other end of the sports/luxury spectrum.

Cadillac made history with the 1st V8 for front wheel drive cars, unfortunately they never made a good one, but at least they built stylish and comfortable cars ❤😂

I briefly owned a 1990 Seville STS, pearl white with that same tan interior. Gotta say the fit/finish/quality on the interior was better than my buddies 1996 Deville and other buddy's 1994 Eldorado. The leather was also a good bit nicer/more durable. Despite being way better built, the dash layout of my Seville SUCKED ASS compared to those later Cadillacs. Cadillac in the 90's had some compelling looking cars but man were they slapped together and had some major mechanical faults(Northstar engines)

It was a pile of junk when it came to quality. The buttons of the climate controls tend to fall apart after few months. The engine tends to lose alot of power over the period of time. Just like the grab handle quickly fell when you grab it hard. Typical General Motors quality.

If you got your head out of your ass for a couple seconds and embrace a car regardless of what reddit thinks of it, you'd know its easier to convert cars of this age and older from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive than the shit from the 2000s and 2010s.
