Lol! One day I spent most of the day trying to get the front end “aligned” and then I found out it was just the fender. I was just happy with the conclusion that it was just the fender so I left it lol

Matt Cat they don’t make motor parts anymore only a top end that is it no radiator hoses no cranks no exhaust pipes no shock seals anything no shops will even touch it I sold mine for 1250$ and bought a kfx450r

I ended up selling because it was so hard to find parts. Still to this day the most fun 2 stroke trail bike I’ve owned!

That poor bike. I have 3-88 KDX 200s and a 06 KDX 200. The white 88 KDX a bought new. Bought a 91 new and sold it 2 years ago. I liked my 88s better and rode them more. I just picked up the 06, 1 owner, low hours, cheep. If you can't get a new air intake from the dealer, ck with Hot Foot Moto. But 2 years ago before I sold my 91 I got a new one for it from the Kawasaki dealer. Ride safe my 2 wheel friends.

That poor bike is right! It’s amazing how just a little pride in maintenance would’ve helped this bike tremendously. I’ve found it difficult to find affordable oem parts so I’ve been doing what I can but somethings you’ve just gotta spend the money.

Are the kx frames universal like interchangeable?

I am not sure. I don’t think they will all be but I don’t know off hand. You should be able to research and figure out which ones are interchangeable.

Nope well now we know I bought kx gas tank and plastics and no way in hell it would fit 4 stroke engines are too big

Actually, I clean it up after every ride. I like my stuff looking good. But, if I miss a day or so you are right, it takes some time to clean again.

I don’t blame you. I ended up selling it for that exact reason. The parts were so hard to find and the ones I did, were way too expensive.
