Nice, concise video. Would love to see others. There's not nearly enough L300 repair/maintenance videos on KZbin.

Excellent video, thanks. I will add that a "deep socket" 12mm on a 3/8" socket wrench will get the retaining bolts out for the filter. The fuel line uses 7mm bolts with Phillips heads. I recommend upgrading the clamps to modern smooth fuel clamps rather than those awful wire clamps. I did get continuity on my water level sensor, but saw that the insulation was brittle and had cracked at the base. I used a zip tie to keep them from bouncing around so the sensor could keep functioning for a while longer.

Super video. This is something that I need to do to my van and had no idea how to do it. I really appreciate you pointing out so many 'heads-up' moments so that I'm prepared for my own job. I hate getting 1/2 through then learning I'm missing a replacement part. Subscribed!

No problem! I hate getting half way through a project and realizing I missed something or forgot to buy something. I also tend to make projects more complicated and it usually takes me a couple tries. I figure if I'm spending too much time on a step than I should probably mention something. Thanks for subscribing!!

No Problem! I owe all my content to the delica community and the forums I list in the description. Without everyone I wouldn't be able to make these videos!

Thanks for sharing man! Was there something happening that was the impetus to change the filter or did you just do it as maintenance?
@vanderbosch4785 жыл бұрын
Yea no problem! Nothing was going wrong that made me suspect the fuel filter. I changed it for regular maintenance and peace of mind.
