Yes Tang Jui Hong is the only Chinese player that was able to beat Susi Susanti twice competitively in a tournament.She achieved that feat in the 1990 Asian Games held in Beijing.

Tang's the most aggressive female player ever with her smash and speed which even the great Susi Susanti could not handle ... she was completely dominant for a period keeping Susi and the rest of the field behind her and was destined to become perhaps the greatest ever but her dominance was cut short due to illness and badminton politicsin the chinese team .... I think China at that time did not treasure her maybe out of overconfidence that they will find another great player to replace her because they had an abundant crop of great players in the men's women's but unexpectedly could not find or train anyone to reach the level of Tang ever since .... If you look at Ye ZhaoYing, she's not as agressive as Tang ... and Tang had a very clear vision of the court playing very clean geometrically, she does not waste time trading strokes as she could find a killer shot very quickly in a point ... I think she's even better than Li Ling Wei as LLW wastes a lot of time trading high balls to wear down her opponents .... Camila martin was a real late bloomer, she didnt beckme elite after susi’s peak reign as the queen. But sarwendah was a step below bang so hyun & ye zhaoying. This 91 world champ was sarwendah’s last big showing in major championships (after winning 1990 world cup over susi, and 1991 all england runner up to susi).
