Are there more levels for the armors? Whats the max level???

16 is the max, no more armors or palette swaps beyond that mainly because the game caps the leveling there. Most players just get to level 15, you can only get to level 16 if you know how to max your points or you have luck and some of the Green/Red staff spawns more times that what they are scripted, wich gives levels you up automatically a level. They have some positions were they always spawn but they may spawn more or not at random.

You can also only get to level 16 when playing solo, with 2 or 3 players you can't max out on levels because you have to share the points.

I never really understood what does leveling up gives you, besides armour swap. You don't seem to increase your damage, you don't increase your health, you don't take less damage. What, the hell, does it do!?

Its your level not the character. The better you are the more blinged out you get.

This game proposes a combined-arms Mongolian/Japanese invasion of England, led by a ninja and a demon-possessed samurai armour (named Muramasa) that shoots fire out of its katana. It has three giants, a golem, angry tigers, bad falcons (not just falcons, but BAD falcons), halberds in the 5th century, several styles of plate armour in the 5th century, and Arthur personally succeeding at the Quest of the Holy Grail in order to confirm himself as king. But the name "Garibaldi" is the problem.
