What a gift. I had one of this Gen, but earlier. The z28 handled so much better than the previous Gen, it blew me away. Though my '86 only had a 305 C.I.D. and 215 HP, I quickly got it up to 300+ HP (Dyno'd) and it was a super daily driver and fun car. I love that design. It still makes me smile.❤

What a beautiful style this 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 "25th Anniversary" edition has with that spectacular Red Dark Metallic! This is one of the Camaro models that I like the most; the third generation that started from 1982 to 1992. I love that front with its double sunken square headlights, the large white stripes that run along the hood, its five-point star-style wheels and the spoiler adapted to the same rear trunk lid ( special mention, for the two removable transparent roof covers, to conveniently store them in that bag in the trunk). Pleasant interior combination of black, in the vinyl of the instruments, doors and carpets, with the gray of the sports seats. The final journey along those roads was excellent, with the sound of the wind and the engine! Congratulations to her owner Karen on this beauty, who is collectively celebrating two anniversaries! Best regards, Lou!

I'm a big fan of Z28s! I had a 1981 in green. Mine was a t-top too. they were very eash to remove and reinstiall. They were a lot of fun. Love the growl of the engine on this one. Dang, I miss that sound...my Ford Focus that I have now, hardly comapers! This is a great example of a Camaro from 1992 that has been preserved nicely. I've never seen the dash in such detail as in your video. Thanks so much for that. Back in the day, these were everywhere...maybe not the 25th Anniversary. I have never seen one of these before. thanks, Lou.

Lou this is such a beautiful clean car and optioned to the hilt. Her husband must really love her. I haven't watched this story to the end so you may ask the question but my first question would have been in addition to how long she has had it would be was it in this shape when her husband bought it? Horsepower was still anemic even in the 90's so I would also like to know what the HP is on this car.? Having said that even the most HP car of the 90's is going to seem wimpy compared to the cars today. Great find Lou! This car is a real cream puff!

My wife bought a brand new 89 Camaro RS right before we started dating. It was a royal blue color. Beautiful car but it only had a V6 and was such a dog. Was a decent car except that it was in the era that GM had paint problems and the factory paint peeled off. Under warranty, we had to have it repainted and the GM Dealer shop that repainted it didn't do a great job. We kept it for a few years after that and then sold it. Fun car to drive though

Yeah this ain’t no true z28…soon as I seen L03 I knew someone added that wing, the z28 badges … a real z28 in 91&92 has dual cats n10… option.. all z28’s in these last 2 years were tuned port injection not throttle body like this car… is a badged up rs…nice car, but not a z28..also the vin for that motor is e in the 8th position… yours says f which would be the 305 tpi motor… someone either swapped the vin stickers on the hood or maybe it originally was a 305 tpi ( code f)… but why does the spid sticker on rear locking storage compartment show l03. It would say lb9…. Something’s fishy about this car
@1willubhave4 ай бұрын
@toddprater14 Yup, good catch...I looked the vin, it shows it to be a 1987, and the emission sticker shows it to be tpi...I think the sticker is wrong, and most of these camaros were stripped from their true vins when stolen. So this 1992 Camaro would fall as a 1992 Camaro RS 305tbi, 700r4, possibly 3.08 posi with rear drums. 1992 Z28 would be a 305/350tpi 700r4 or opt BW Tremec WC 5 speed (305tpi only), and a opt G80/G92 3.42 rear diff

Hey Lou!!!! I watched this truly awesome video yesterday and left you a pretty epic JV Johnny/Robin comment, but didn't hear back from my big bro! ?? But I don't see it here so maybe I didn't click "send"🤣😜?! Aw Jeez. I hope you see this one, doe. This Bitchin' Camaro just takes me right back to highschool and my JV baseball days with my boys in Ralphie's big bro's beat up brown '85 Berlinetta, in our tubesocked stocking feet (floppy sneakers and cleats thrown in the hatchback lol) and as the vehicle of choice on Halloween where I was ALWAYS Robin (Burt Ward's Robin) and STILL in my flesh colored stocking feet, a wiseass (tho always a lightweight 😂 and usually assigned to the backseat), chick crazy, irreverent working class American boy. I'm still that kid, tho middle aged🤣. This Camaro takes ya right back-it's perfect. But I have NEVER seen such a pristine example as Karen's gorgeous late model right here. That power hatch, those clear T-tops.....beautiful showpiece. Karen and her husband have a time capsule that Gen X can truly get behind. My floppy sneakers don't have a CHANCE of staying on my stocking feet, big bro. Esp. when I hear that exhaust rumble! Thanks for showcasing her, Lou. ⚾⚾ JV Johnny

Beautiful Camaro Lou, I could have had one for my first car at 16, there was a 1992 Z28 about the same color as this at our local Chevrolet dealership it wasn't as nice as this one but it was only $2,500, thinking it was had like 180k miles was why the price was so low and my dad offered to buy it for me but I was really wanting a truck so I decided that I wanted to go look at it again and that I wanted it and it had been sold that morning while I was at school, but I ended up finding my Duster about 6 months later but I still kick myself for not getting that Camaro every time I seen one like it
