Brooke even told Eric that Stephanie said that they had slept together recently and that that's ridiculous. But to Brooke's surprise, Eric casually said that they did slept together recently. When Eric said that, he didn't know that Brooke was pregnant. Brooke realized that the baby might be Eric's and not Ridge's.

Had Stephanie not done or said some of the things she did to Brooke, Brooke might have not done some of the things she did out of spite. When it comes to Brooke, nothing is her fault. I agree that Eric shouldn't have slept with his wife while she was passed. Whet I do find disgusting is that Brooke slept with her husband and his son within a week of each other. She cheated on Eric and then went after his own son. At least when Steffy did something similar she wasn't going after Bill. Bill took advantage of Steffy when she was at her lowest point. Does that excuse what Steffy did, NO but the situation was very different. Brooke intentionally cheated on Eric.

@@songriver1232 Yeah. Brooke has 5 children and 2 of them she needed a paternity test done on. With Rick, she always knew that Eric was the father. With Hope, she always knew that Deacon was the father. With Jack, she always knew that Nick was the father.... but she didn't know that she was the mother. With Bridget and RJ, she needed a paternity test done and with both children, Ridge was one of the possible fathers. With Bridget, the other possible father was Eric and with RJ, the other possible father was Nick. When you think about it, except for Rick, the coming of all of Brooke's children have been complicated situations. With Bridget and RJ, she didn't know who the fathers were. With Jack, she didn't know that her eggs, fertilized with Nick's sperm, were implanted into Taylor which meant Taylor was carrying her child. But I'd say with Hope, it was the most complicated as she had conceived Hope with her son-in-law and was trying so hard to keep Hope's true paternity a secret, even long after Hope was born. She knew if the media and the public ever found out Hope's true paternity, her life, Bridget's life and Hope's life would all be ruined.

I agree that what Eric did was wrong but I'm just curious, do you think that anytime you are drunk and sleep with your husband, it's rape? Just playing devil's advocate here. I do think that Eric truly thought Brooke wanted him as she was the one who initiated it by kissing him. He was walking out the door and she called him back, so I do think that what happened that night was partially Brooke's doing.
