Too bad JPS didn't have TBS' national reach. I can't believe that it took until that season for the SEC to have a syndicated football package. Even the ACC had one with JPS 8 years prior and Georgia appeared on that one pre-1992.

You didn't have to be good to QB that team. His only job was to hand the ball off and keep mistakes to a minimum. He was able to do that very well so I consider him to be a success story.
