Watching from Birmingham UK. For all the clamouring for professionalism by 1995, we had it quite good back in the amateur days. One thing is for sure, clubs like Wasps and Worcester wouldn't have needed bankrolling by money men and eventually gone to the wall.

Love these Currie cup games from back in the day... especially nostalgic are the Tukkies matches that were played when Kings Park used to host the Toyota club championships over the Easter weekend. 👍

As young child I remember my parents taking me to the club games in Despatch. I watched Danie Gerber, Pote human Frans Erasmus playing club rugby.

Used to get videos of the Curry Cup and watch the game days later in Ireland. Always had a fascination with SA aRugby.
