I’ve got a restored 89 Texas DPS car bought from them in 91 in Austin. Yes they had an Oil Cooler with an FL 300 Filter and those are the Factory Cooler lines. Texas did not order Blue Hoses that year. Only option was Cruise.

That's some good troubleshooting on the SSP.. Even though you don't know much about it... I guess the basics are still the same no matter what Fox you have....

Yes Chris, it should have a heavy duty fan clutch like my mustang and blue silicone hose set.

Yeah that oil cooler was on the SSP's. I can remember that you could buy it thru ford SVO catalog many moons ago. Also in the speedo you will see that it reads certified calibration at the bottom, that was only on the speedos used in the SSP's

Ssp cars & taxi’s had oil coolers. Had to run a short profile oil filter Had to do with prolonged idling times

@@TheInfamousProject no idea but if someone is interested it should be worth a little more than a similar condition LX coupe. I can see that the exhaust tips are original, has original type rims, 160mph speedometer with million mile odometer and may have a kill switch from the entity that owned it.

@@TheInfamousProject mine was near fuse box. It’s aftermarket so it varies by year and entity. I hope that it gets restored to a driver.

Looks like it has a larger core radiator, too. I'm sure that was an SSP thing.

Bigger rad, better rad hoses, better brake pads, better grounds for the electrical system, calibrated 140 mph speedometer, push bar for PIT maneuvers, larger output alternator, heavy duty fan clutch, oil cooler I believe not 100% sure...that's most of the upgrades

What do you do with a hail damaged roof...anyone ? There are no aftermarket roof skins made that im aware of

@TheInfamousProject I see...I'm up in canada and there's about 0 donor cars up in here. I'm tired of my sunroof car rusting from the moisture retention, just want to go plain steel roof. I saw a fox mustang in a wrecking yard in London about 15 yrs ago with the roof Sawzalled off already

Had the exact same no start on a 95' Cobra I purchased. After cutting the 5 lbs of wiring and alarm box out it fired right up! Nice video glad you are doing a SSP! 👍🐺
