The lt1 is a general motors design and platform they didn't deal with the corvette until the zr1

@@bendergod5747 Hello, a few things that were done : TPIS intake, roller cam shaft, lifters, valve springs, long tube headers, throttle body custom prom chip, ported and polished heads and intake, over sized Manley pro flo stainless steel valves. Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears, iridium spark plugs, dayco serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pulleys. This is a few. There are a few more things as well but these are the biggest.

Probably the best sounding V8 i've ever heard coupled with the second best generation of corvette only behind the C3 in my opinion. I want to get a C4 but I want to convert the LT1 to carburetor fuel system, do you think it would sound the same with a carburetor or does the TPI give this distinct sound?

Thanks. I'd imagine the sound would be similar but alot of it has to do with the mufflers I have on it. This is a 93 with sequential fuel injection, the earlier C4's were TPI

I wouldn’t switch to carb from tpi the tpi is known to make the lt1 flow amazing and give it good power and high end torque

@@ThatNoFbody-ch9kylt1 doesnt have tpi, tpi doesnt flow well AT ALL once you reach medium rpms and its completely dead at the top. Tpi is truck tier intake system optimized for low end

Yes, it' a streetable cam with good manners. There are other cams which will make more power but hotcam has a nice balance.

Yes. I'd recommend a set of long tube headers first then go from there. Hotcam is a proven upgrade for the LT1 platform.

Installed myself in the garage. Not THAT bad. Read up, get yourself a factory service manual and you’ll be fine.
