Love the 2-door 5-speed versions of these XJs. Also, with yours being preAirbag, it's got the much more attractive steering wheel. An excellent setup you have there David. And the last picture with the two pickups shows how rather compact these old XJs are.

Beautiful Jeep and a 5 soeed, nice!!! My is also 5 speed but 2.5 turbo diesel version for European market. XJs are my favorite Jeeps!! Greetings from Croatia!!

got it for $2100 on carsforsale.com and drove it home for $2500 after dealer expenses, though they did title and register it for me. Drove it from Colorado Springs, CO to Waco TX the next day with ZERO problems

Hello how’s it going I’m going to be purchasing a almost completely similar Jeep but I’m Black w/167k miles on it. It is sight unseen and will be driving out to Indiana to pick up Jeep. Pictures look ok. Unibody and floors look good small rust on rear wheel wells only thing I can see. And only spots guy selling send me pictures of? Any advice on what to look out for? This will be my daily driver looking to replace my current one that had a blown transmission and always wanted an xj. Little nervous on buying a car this old and this many miles. Btw 3k$ cash out the door.

I been looking for 5 speeds and xjs in general people overprice the shit out of these.... just because its lifted and most have just about bald tires and want 4-8k in my area..... with over 200k plus miles and needs "tcl" I'm like wtf.....
