I have enjoyed watching you guys restore this boat. My dad had a 1992/93 374V and I have regretted not buying it from him when his fishing days were done. After he passed in 2013 only makes that hit home more. Thanks for letting me go down memory lane a bit. I love these 300 series Ranger boats.

Looking really good guys. One thing I haven't heard you guys mention, maybe you have and I just didn't hear it. But carpet has a grain to it. It will lay one direction. So laying your pieces out like you did on the carpet in the exact way they are on the boat is a great way to do it. If not your carpet job will look patchy especially over time. With it laying correct it'll be looking seemless and perfect for years to come. Loving all you guy's videos. Look forward to them every week. Making me wanna scoop up another 300 series. I absolutely loved redoing my 85 373v from the ground up. I know every nut and bolt on my boat and it's super satisfying. Keep up the awesome work guys.

I have really enjoyed watching y’all restore this boat. My dad had a 374V of the same vintage and I have regretted not keeping that boat when his fishing days were winding down. Y’all do fantastic work.

You guys almost bought a greenish 1990 nitro but passed. I bought it and man you all dodged a bullet! Bad everything but hull! Soon got rid of it and now working on a 1996 Hydra Sport

Would be really cool to have that black face of the new deck extension engraved with a cool design/logo of Clyde’s choice. Thinking that would look sharp! Great job guys...really looking good!

Where do you get dashboard replacements but especially the side control panel for ranger boats. 2000 Ranger Comanche ? I would like to have a solid one and make my own holes.

Hey guys, great job! I plan do redo my carpets soon in my 1994 Ranger 481V, has the exact same layout. When you re-carpeted the lids, did you remove the latches and refasten on top of the carpet or leave them on and carpet around them? Thanks!

I lay carpet for a living scrape the old glue up I don’t put no chemicals on the surface because then you would have to sand it back off that’s just my advice

It looks good! I really don't like wood being put back in though... But hey I'm not the one funding the restoration.

That new locker is going to be a wet mildew disaster in no time, because it's not water tight.

How would you have done it show me some of your builds so I can learn I’m all for educating myself so tell me how to make it better I I change it on my time and my $
@lklk19972 жыл бұрын
@@grumpymealey2441 I would be happy to show you how it's done properly but I no longer own the two boats I built them in. First off you don't use wood, you use vinyl boards. They are inexpensive and come In a wide variety of sizes. The vinyl boards have to be attached to the existing boxes with small screws and automotive seam sealant. These boards need to have a channel cut in to the surface with a raised edge which will allow you to attach a seal, and allow any water that could get under the lid to be channeled towards the floor. The lid you made would likely work fine if the base of the locker was done properly. Most of the work that you do in your video appears to be very well done. This new locker isn't a good example of that. Start over and give the customer something that won't be a mildewy mess in a year.
