I daily drive a 1996 9000 Aero with factory high pressure, little bit of rust, aftermarket bilstein B6 shocks. BRILLIANT car. 340,000KM & counting

If the seat bolstering was a worry you got the Aero with its Recaro leather seats, That sorted that issue. I still have a 9000 Aero 2.3T to this day, and what an amazing all round car it is. I drive about 800 miles a week and there is really no other car i would rather do it in. I also specialise in tuning these cars which is still very popular given how strong the engines are. Aye, and the seats can move in the later ones with the ignition off so that's two of the three reviewers points. The remaining one about price was very valid in 1993, but now a 9000 Aero is half or a third of the price of a german late 80's early 90s preformance sedan! I'm absaloutly convinced if you want a practical, roomy, quick, comftable car form the last analougue eara (80s-90s) the 9K is the best car you can buy for your money!

@@thomasbuettner6878 Absolutely. 500 Miles to a tank and insane performance. I recently had to do a trip to the corner of Cornwall and my boss came with me. He had never been in a 9000 and was left blown away by the experience. He loved the seats and the 70 to 100 in 3rd Party-Trick i think will stick with him forever.

That muppet with the mullet hasn't driven a Saab 9000 CSE 2.3 Turbo, that's for sure! The engine is way smoother than a V6. V6:es are inheritable unbalanced and are not smooth at all, especially not compared to the Saab B234 with twin counter-rotating balance shafts. And the turbo? Well, the numbers and hard facts are that the turbocharged Saab engine is at least as powerful and a lot more fuel efficient than any contemporary V8.
