Very tough and rugged event in Nevada but what a race for Rob "Rough Rider" MacCachren. Even for off-road racing in Nevada the next year in 1995, Las Vegas Motor Speedway arrived when the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut thanks to Jim Smith who founded the Truck Series. And then the drag strip later debuted in 2000 outside the Speedway where Pro Stock Truck were Drag Racing such as Bob Panella Jr. and Larry Kopp. But as for the great view of the Hoover Dam, many people have seen the F1 Powerboats race on Lake Mead almost 30 years ago remembering the Seebold family racing there. Ya! Rob is obviously an exceptional driver, it makes sense he was looking into the truck series and Nascar.
