Irmscher is a german Tuning Company specially for Opel (Vauxhall) Cars. Google it.

@@Noukz37 as far as i know did opel, Izuzu and Nissan cooperate and made the Montery togheter and sold them under different names, same as with the "Opel Frontera" wich was also under Opel, Nissan and Izuzu.

Oh, BTW, the fully heated cloth Recaro seats are a total plus/comfy! Along with all of the other Irmscher upgrades in and out of the Vehicle, very sweet suspension!

Regarding the size. I have one of these. It´s branded as an Opel (Monterey). Strangely (beeing an Opel) it´s one of the nicest i have seen. it´s a black LTD (fully loaded) with leather interior, glass roof and a 3.2 V6 with MANUAL gearbox. Ok, the size: I also thought it was a "mid size" and a lot smaller than the Land Cruiser. But the interior space is really massive so i checked. And if i remember it correctly, it´s actually almost exactly the same size as an LC 80. So i guess they really did a good job with hiding it´s size. I hope i don´t have the measures wrong. But trust me. After a 2" lift and 33" KO2´s, mine does not look small at all. But a Nissan Patrol that parked next to me actually looked small in comparison.

We got this in the U.S as the Isuzu Trooper / Acura SLX. The drive train used wasn't really known for reliability. I'm sure this version with the diesel is much better.

The 3.1 is a great motor but heavy on diesel especially the auto .also the auto is shit slow to change revs like fuck.after that was the 3.0 litre and they were a ball of shit serious issues with injectors and cylinder heads turbo etc

Around 2008 I sold my 2.8 Pajero for one of these horrible things. Assumed the bigger engine would be more potent. Assumed it would be better off road. First trip on the local beach my friends had to pull me out about 7 times including the entrance just getting on the beach. Places the Pajero just walked through with the tyres down. The 3.1 was gutless, had no torque, nothing. The automatic was horrible. Not engaging not smooth not intuitive. We went to a ski slope, driving up the nice sealed roads to the slope obviously cold outside and the AT-TEMP light came on. Had to stop and let it cool every 2 minutes. Sold it and bought another Pajero asap. If you were looking at one of these I strongly, highly recommend getting a Pajero instead. Believe me I'm not exaggerating about how gutless and lacking these are. Put a trailer on the back and it's like lifting a cat by the back of the neck.....immobilised. And if you can stretch to a Landcruiser 80 1HDT turbo diesel don't think twice just pay the extra. The 80 Series will tow the moon while in the softest sand and it wouldn't even break a sweat.
