Wow, and I thought the Triumphs got really rusty in Canada.....that Jeep is an eye-opener. But you are persevering Elin, and doing some good work to save that Jeep! Maybe you can get ChefTush into Jeeps?? :-)

Hi Elin. Why didn't you use an anti-rust primer inside those box sections, prior to welding them closed ? Just asking.

No primer or paint either... big difference to the TR repairs. Maybe he's planning a full restoration with a new chassis in a couple of years.

Rusty Beauties humm, well Rusty Yes but Beauty defiantly No, solid yes seeing the the repair steel is twice the thickness of the original frame thickness, a shame to see all that skill going into a rather hu hum jeep when you have other more tasty projects waiting.
