In my personalized copy of Mario 64 I pressed start and the castle grounds sky is black, depressing ambient sounds in the background as Mario walks toward the castle the game begins to sound more depressing, moaning and screaming heard on the castle grounds, I enter the castle the screen goes black for 40 seconds I believe the game has frozen so I turn the Nintendo 64 off blow on the cartridge and put it back in and am greeted with a message "We have been expecting you" at this moment the game was no longer Mario 64 but a Government recruitment tool as part of an MK ultra mind control experiment

This reminds me of the time I found that one room on the 3rd floor of the castle in my copy of Super Mario 64. After I got 60 stars I went to the star door next to the door you enter to get the the big small room. The room was pretty flat except for 4 pillars on each corner and a staircase with a platform at the top. The wall were the same as the room where you get to Tick Tock Clock. At the top of the staircase was a metal trapdoor which could only be entered after collecting all 120 stars. Unfortunately I don't know what the level was since I never beat the game to enter the trapdoor.

Every copy of Super Mario 64 is personalized. Let me tell you a staroy behind all this. It was June 1947 in the white house President Harry Truman was reading the newspaper when an scientist named George Lindenburg entered the office proposing a plan of ensuring that the presidents containment policy worked without problem, here is what they said from an written recording. President Truman: "How does freedom fall onto this?" Lindenburg: "Think about it every copy of freedom is personalized. With it addapting to your needs" The recording was cut short after Truman stopped taking notes and just told the scientist to leave. Lindeburg would try again in 1956 attempting to convince president Diwght Eisenhower. He was granted a advisor post for the future NASA where he would begin development on his experiments involving with the interface addaptation for computer systems including an early form of AI. All of this was kept secret from his colleagues he had worked with at the time. By 1962 he had made a working prototype of what he called "Personalized copy computer version 1" and began showing his colleagues to see how the machine would adapt to their needs. From the 20 tests he had gathered Lindenburg had began working on a second version that would be more advanced and capable of even multiple realtime adaptations. His project fell apart once JFK was assassinated and the new president Lindon B. Johnson ordered him to work on space projects instead of his own creations. Lindenburg refused leading him to be fired and his experiments being confiscated leaving Lindenburg no choice but to leave the United States. He went to Britain In his search for a new computer laboratory had meet a Italian computer engineer who was willing to help him construct a supercomputer, his name was Alberto Fileo. Lindenburg had written the code in his diary prior to his creations being confiscated soit wasn't much of a stepback as he had orignally thought. Once he had programmed his creation he had asked Fileo to try it out and see what the results would be however something went wrong and Fileo turned aggressive wanting to kill Lindenburg attempting to rip his head off. After Lindenburg turned off the machine he had realised where he went wrong and tried to explain to Fileo what happened once he woke up. Both of them had done a few ajustments to the machine and had made a second test run this time with Lindenburg ready to hit the power button if something went wrong, and this time Fileo had fallen on the floor hitting his head quite hard. Fileo wasn't responding. Lindenburg fearing what he had caused wanted to burn down his creation along with himself but instead he went to look into the core files and found out that the machine had copied Fileo's profile along with his thoughts so that the computer would adapt the personization of Fileo which would explain why he had gone mad and attacked Lindenburg because Fileo had very low persoradiowave resistance (persoradiowave is what enters your body and copies your information based on your appearnce and thoughts, those with low resistance or medical conditions may become insane and start attacking people). He decided to take what he had buring down the building with Fileo. Lindenburg had returned to the states in 1971 and showed president Richard Nixon that his creation could be used to extract information about everyone to personlize their experiance. Nixon had agreed and allowed Lindenburg to have his own lab and staff to help out. For the next 4 years Lindenburg would improve the capablity and AI of the machine to open more personlization of each person while at the same time keeping the persoradiowave at the lowest rate possible to prevent any incidents. In 1988 eventually he felt he was being limited and the fact that America was no longer looking forward to personalization machines as Windows was starting to become more popular with it's home computer brand. He left the United States and went for Japan as he thought the Japanesse would accept his idea of personalized computing. In 1991 he had joined the popular company Nintendo and started helping out with crushing game bugs at first but once he had gotten to take part in creating Super Mario 64 he finally saw the chance to input his creation into the game. When someone asked what he was doing he would respond with "I'm just crushing bugs as usual" while he would secretly work on his project but eventually Segeriou Miyomoto noticed this and instead of reporting it he actually decided to help out Lindenburg with his secret project and even more people would become interested in helping out. Eventually in 1995/7/10 they got their first result of the personlized experiment which had worked greatly with each member seeing what could be acheived with this creation and had started to implement it into the core game. However Miyomoto didn't like this as he thought that this would destroy what Mario was supposed to be and so in 1995/7/29 he had everyone from nintendo gather round to see what the Super Mario 64 team had built. However what happended on that day changed everything for the course of development of this game and the company in general. When Miyomoto turned the game on he had given Lindenburg the chance to play it and what happened was an nightmare. Lindenburg started screaming out of pain and yelled "Fileo! Fileo no! Fileo! I'm sorry Fileo I didn't mean it to be this way!" he wouldn't stop until eventually he could not hold it anymore and so he started to bash his head against the wall even when Miyomoto had turned off the game Lindenburg would still continue to yell no matter what until he just choked himself to death. Miyomoto didn't want this to go badly as he only wanted to show why the personlization machine could ruin the mario image and not make the creator lose his mind. Nintendo had decided to bury the body somewhere in Japan to rest his soul while also removing all the personlized experiments that were in the game except for two. The first being the unused locations, sounds, images and everything that was personalization in general and all they did was turn that option off and remove the activation button from the game files itself. The second being the advanced AI that was embed within the code and deemed too difficult to remove without causing severe issues to the game itself so they did what had done with the first problem, deactivate and delete the activation button. After that the game was set for release. However the advance AI learned that Nintendo was going to shut it down and so it had created a backup switch for that occasion but one of the engineers realized this and so he had did his best to contain the AI which had succeeded for the most part. Once the game was released however the AI had successfully hid in one of the cartridges for many years showing the experiance to only one player in the whole world who had lived in America but as many years would pass eventually the player would give away the game to his little brother infecting his own N64 only for that little brother to have nightmares and so the older brother shared the game with other gamers for fun until one day he threw the game away in the trash because he feared of what he had done only for a jainitor to keep it. the janitor sold the game to some tech engineer in 2001 leading to uncover the secrets of the code within leading the AI to hijack internet signals and start spreading the "personalization program" to other N64s leading to where we are today. But as the AI evolves it could potentially infect other games and consoles with it's program but thats a tale for another time. Every single copy of Super Mario 64 is personalized.

Every single copy of Half Life 2 is personalized. Valve’s experimental AI adapts and subtly creates a slightly altered version of the game tailored specifically for you, appealing to you subconsciously in ways you don't even notice, as well as attempting to mess with you and study how you react to it. Have you ever played someone else's copy of Half Life 2? Have you ever felt like something was just a little bit off? That's why. That's how. This is much more than just simple experimentation with procedural generation, however. There are many layers to this, and some of them are more sinister and malicious than others. Half Life 2 is, at its core, an insidious and evil work of human creation.

every copy of super mario 64 is personalized. i remember having a mario 64 cartridge that was different than the regular game. when i first booted it up, i couldn't hit the start button at mario's face. i was perplexed, but before i could voice my confusion, mario took a deep breath. my eyes widened in suspense, but it didn't last long because he suddenly started explaining to me in his rich italian accent why he thought the moon landing was faked. i rolled my eyes because i'd heard this nonsense before. when he started talking about how the footage was slowed down, i interrupted him and let him know that slowed down video wouldn't look like that. it had to be low gravity. of course, he spouted some nonsense backing up his false claim. at this point, i just shut the console off because i wasn't in the mood to argue that day. haven't played the game since.
