1995 1996 Region V Southeast Alaska High School Basketball Tournament M.E.H.S. vs. Sitka High School

Southeast Alaskan high school basketball tournament, for the 1995-1996 season. Both teams had lost the previous night, in their attempt to win their respective conference titles (Sitka being 4A, Mt. Edgecumbe 3A) and were now facing each other. Making it all the more interesting, these teams, although in different conferences, had been crosstown rivals for nearly 50 years. The only thing really riding on this game? Pride. Especially for guys like me, as this was the last high school basketball game I'd ever play.
