In my opinion the first Vanquish (from the Bond-Movie) was the last hand-built Aston (as the Vanquish S Ultimate) and so the last that was build in Newport Pagnell, before the DB9 was born in the new factory in Gaydon (made on a Production Line). Then the facilities in Newport Pagnell become the home of the "Aston Works Service" for Restauration and Works Tuning.

...but the V550 and V600 was the last proper Aston engined cars assembled and built at Newport Pagnell. The Vanquish V12s engine was built in Germany.

It's sad that such a beautiful car that does everything so well has been used so little. I do hope the new owner gets to really enjoy the car and others get the opportunity to see it. The end of an era for old school proper Aston Martins.
