Villeneuve was last cart champ before thr split! Loved that blue/white players livery with his helmet.

NTT Indycar Series, thanks, love watching these classic motor races. Laguna Seca with the world famous corkscrew, great racing circuit.

Thanks for this! I was too young to watch this and it was never properly broadcast in my country I think. Great quality as well.

As terrific as this era was for IndyCar racing truly was and I enjoyed the reminder of that, this also reminded me how lousy ESPN2's graphics were.

I was at this race all those years ago, I was stationed at Travis AFB in Fairfield CA only a few hours away from this track. Went to this race 3 years in a row 94-Tracy, 95-DeFerran & 96-Zanardi...

I immersed myself in CART, and speak about the series quite often to this day. Incredible machinery for the era, and the drivers were top shelf. Michael Andretti was my guy, though Paul Tracy and he seemed like the on-track equivalent of frenemies. More names to drop, but I will enjoy this for the nostalgia factor.
