Question on rotation of engine. It looks like on clutch side rotates clockwise and would make flywheel counterclockwise. But in engine description in harbor freight it say clockwise on flywheel side. Do you know or have any info on this?

What you are seeing is an optical allusion caused by the recording device. Because I can guarantee you that the clutch is spinning counter clockwise.

Nice! Could this be done chain drive, that way you wouldnt have to worry about a belt slipping on the pulley if it gets wet from mud?

Get an old broken motorcycle engine and use that as the gearbox + clutch It's much less lossy than these CVTs
