Hello everyone,
In this episode we bring you Ping and his long term project! His gorgeous Honda Civic has been though so many different phases. I really appreciate how he has managed to keep this building going since the 90s. I am glad that he has managed to keep it regarding of the situation, it also helps that he chose an amazing partner that motivates him to continue building the car. I am looking forward to the future plans and events you show up to. Thank you so much for the time and I really enjoyed all the different stories! I appreciate the support! #automotiveanatomy

The good ole 90s and early 2000s! Nice clean Civic! Our crew back then had an Accord, Crx, Civic, Prelude, Del Sol and Integra. I miss my 95 Integra LS with a drag gen 2 turbo kit that my friends and I installed in our driveway. I went through so many exhaust and wheels and I wished I kept my Integra and all my parts. I probably got over 100 fix it tickets with that car living in Garden Grove, CA. Gang unit was always pulling me over too. From what I remember buying parts at and getting work done were Pit Crew Motorsports, Speed Image, Dynamic Motorsports, Pro Import Racing, Robotek, Stock wheels behind Asian Garden Mall and St. Andres. I remember some friends going to Honda Pro and a guy named Linh with a twin turbo 300z who imported JDM motors. I regret not trading my 2002 WRX for a 2001 Red GSR back in 2004 from Cerritos Acura ☹️ Keep up the great work you are doing on this channel!

Also had the shaved molding like him and also shaved the handles lol. Heck I had a feels wide body with headlight and tail light conversions. In case he's still interested, fiber imagine got purchased by Hush and they're now doing the sir hoods without the skeleton inside. Really nice, clean, and simple build 👌

@@AutomotiveAnatomy no I can’t drive stick anymore due to a motorcycle accident. Auto tranny now. Looking at a 2013 civic and lightly mod it or an ilx with the 2.4 just to cruise around. Too many speeding tickets and impounded situations. Now I just want to cruise to the beach in something that kind of feels like these older cars I had before. I appreciate them for what they are, simplicity, feel, light chassis, modding. After my jdm days I had sport bikes and high end high hp cars that guzzle gas and cost big bucks, now I just want a four cylinder again. Might sound weird but I drive much less now a days and don’t street race. I appreciate your videos and it’s cool to see so many people still enjoying jdm. Keep em coming. Saludos!

I've got a 94 Civic sedan with a B16A motor and some type of Integra JDM LSD trans, not sure I bough the car already swapped. Yeah I know what he means about the gearing though because mine runs at 4K rpm at about 70 mph. I actually put on a quieter muffler because the drone will give you a headache on a long drive. I like the trans in first through third gear but I would like to swap out 4-5 to be better on the freeway. I already need a rebuild anyway due to a cracked case and second gear grind so that's my next step in the project. Getting a new timing belt put on now. Nice Civic and review.
