What a blast!!! I was there in 95… just amazing to see this again. The battle between parker and smets was so tight! Smets lost control in a very fast uphill jump combination. Smets and his bike landed a few meters away from us. He flipped, lost the handlebar and hit the ground very hard between the two bumps. The husaberg was shattered on the 2.bump. I remember thinking that he must have broken all bones… Luckily he wasn‘t injured! Hard as steel Very impressive! The battle between the 2stroke kawa of parker and the husaberg hammer was burnt into my memories…just an unforgettable fight!!! Thx for your videos

What an accomplishment for Delepine. Commentator mentioned he didn't always have the right "parts". Surely, that was a reference to works suspension since massaging the right kind of power out of a CR500 for a given rider has never been too expensive. Smets and Parker appeared to be really pushing when they both disappeared off the radar. Smetty comes around with a very bent 'berg. Love this video though. I'll watch it many more times!
