1996 Audi A4 B5 steering wheel/airbag removal

How to remove the steering wheel and replace the turn signal assembly off a 1996 Audi A4 Quattro. I found this relatively easy considering every tool is readily available.

Been there ... done that recently. Thx for the video. I pulled the clockspring with the wheel and kept them together as a unit. My first Valeo replacement switch was intermittent on the left turn signal. The second one works like a champ.

make sure b4 u install the airbag to apply 12volt with a jumper wire to the small pins on the back of the airbag to reset the sensor. u might feel a small explosion when doing this. calm down its completely normal. youll thank me later.

how did you disconnect the airbag? Just pull the red connector off? My steering is crunching and i'm thinking i have crap in my steering column or some kind of bearing is bad. Just need to know how to remove the Airbag cable.

Man, I was thinking about CHANGE de steering column to an audi a4 1999 and I could use a beautiful steering wheel,...do you think the connectors will match?

Yes, just pull on on the red connection. It will slide right out.
