It was so weird to here jason Morgan say " jason quartermaine " I totally see that they desperately wanted to replace stone w/ Jason & have the same trio of sonny robin & now jason. Later & til this day to the dismay of fans it's been the trio of sonny carly & jason. I swear the message boards in 2003 are still complaining about Jason & carson running the show.

Initially they always planned for a Robin/Jason pairing, but at the time Kimberly was 14 and he was 18 and they decided to do an AIDS s/l and brought in MS and paired them up. When Kim was of age, they put Robin w/Jason

@@soapgirl15 I stand corrected. MS is the same age as SB (Jason). MS born in 1970). Stone born in 1976 and died at age 19 in late 1995. KM was born in 1978 and initially, Robin was born in 1979 and later they moved it to 1977. For some reason they decided to wait on Jason/Robin and when the AIDS s/l came up they went there.

@@sarahswomley2580 So if MS was an adult when KM was 14 what was the big deal about putting Jason and Robin together if SB was the same age as MS when they put Robin and Stone together? I'm trying to understand their logic when they said they wanted to wait until Kimberly was of legal age for Jason/Robin. Did they think MS looked younger and could pass as a teenager where as SB couldn't?

@@soapgirl15 No, this was before MS. Kim/Robin was 17/18 during Stone's death. When they first thought of a Jason/Robin, she was closer to 15/16, and he would have been pre-med. Jason Q. became Jason M. at age 22, I think. They had Robin at 18. but I think SB was closer to age 24/25.

Sonny's already trying to get his hooks into Jason. God, knowing what Jason becomes b/c of Sonny just makes me sick. I like the character of Jason Morgan as a person, but I hate that he worked for Sonny. And by working for Sonny, I mean becoming Sonny's bitch.

Sonny understood the anger and outbursts since he was bi-polar (though he didn't know it yet). However he did the one thing that most of the Q's couldn't- he let Jason be who he wanted not what he expected him to be.

Not really. When Sonny left in 99' he asked Jason if he wanted to take over and run things. Jason was in charge. Sonny wasn't telling him what to do.
