In retrospect, I came to the realization that the car accident made Jason go nuts and that the quartermaines were never the villains, he was. Like if you really take a step back and think about it, Jason was really a psychopath.

Looking back at these clips, imo you see where Robin was secretly wishing that Jason would give the Q's a chance and not work for Sonny.....then she would of hve the perfect man....but more importantly you saw her self righteous mentality.

Jason and Robin relationship was pure and real. These two actors have the best chemistry. It's real and their reactions when they are in a scene is natural and always on point. Jason when he is acting with those other women always seem like he is trying to hard, his scenes with them aren't natural like they are with Robin. If they did write a book with Steve and Kim as the main characters it will be a number 1 best seller. Because when they had a great writing team their characters shined.

@@StarGazerandSpaceShips the writers for GH can't write for Robin/Kim and Jason/Steve because from their first scene in 1992 to their last scene in 2018 they had awesome chemistry. Their storylines were written with them actually having conversations this take writers that know their actors and from 1992 until 1996 before Carly the writing team wrote excellent episodes and dialogue for Jason/Steve and Robin/Kim. GH writers since 1997 to 2020 can only write about Steve/Jason in shootouts, taking in stray women and their children and claiming them as his, sleeping with his friend's wife getting her pregnant, sleeping with his brother's wife, marrying or dating Sonny's women that he no longer want, Carly's errand boy, getting Carly out of the Mental Hospital over and over, Liz whinning about everything under the sun and Sam getting shot, getting kidnapped, sleeping with her, marrying her and saving her these storylines doesn't show how awesome of an actor he is. Steve/Jason is a robot now he doesn't act he just show up to work do his lines, save those whinning women and Sonny. When Steve/ Jason and Kim/ Robin are in scences their awesome acting abilities make each other great.

Yes, but their love story was and still is the best thing that happen to GH. Steve/Jason and Kim/Robin are a awesome couple they make each other shine. Icing on the cake.

Robin is petite and about 4-5 yrs younger than Jason (KMc a little younger about 8 yrs younger than SB). Before Stone, they considered a Robin/Jason relationship, but Kim was about 16 and still too young.

Yeah I wouldn't say anything against Jason if he wanted to be a Quartermaine and work for ELQ as a Security Guard for ELQ and learning from the great Edward Quartermaine and AJ Quartermaine and Alan Quartermaine. Because that would be better for Jason in my opinion.

To think you belong in a life of crime is pretty said. To think back then I thought nothing of it and this was before the years of hell with the Sonny, Jason , Carly show . Now that I am in my 40s and grew up i see things differently and this was pathetic and sad. This is where I belong? You can be friends with someone without sharing their lifestyle come on. No one belongs in a life of crime! Everyone has options period and if you think so low of yourself to accept such b.s. and tell yourself this is all I am good at then you are selling yourself short period. I can't believe the writers tried to sell us on this shit as young viewers at the time. Sorry now That I am older and lived life i ain't buying this mess anymore. But on another note I do enjoy going down memory lane and watching old school Jason Morgan all over although now I am seeing things differently . That is all. #Nolongerinmy20s #Igrewup

Jason didn't fit in anywhere. He didn't know much after the accident. If it weren't for Robin,and Sonny he wouldn't have learned anything. He probably be dead from all the reckless things he was doing. Being in Sonny's business allowed him to be himself,and control his life. Jason couldn't have a regular job where a boss controlled him,and looked down on him. Sonny didn't do that,and allowed Jason to make his own decisions,and live his own life.

The main problem that we have w/ the development of Jason's and Robin's relationship is that it was extremely cliché. Also, quite often their dialogue was too dense in an attempt to make their connection seemed more intense but the effect was the opposite. It made their relationship like if it would have been forged from a bad romance novel. Furthermore, such attempts made it hard for the audience to believe that they had any type of passion, intensity or even depth. Instead of making Jason's and Robin's relationship looked like it was growing organically and naturally, it looked like their relationship was lacking natural chemistry. We are not saying that they didn't care for one another or that they didn't have feelings for each other. What we are saying is that it didn't look like it. Their scenes looked too rehearsed and at times felt too cold and distant for two people that were discovering one another while at the same time were trying to connect with each other at different levels. Sometimes their scenes even came across as unauthentic or perhaps lacking some honest moments between the actors. Blessed be!

I think what you are not taking into account is that this is not a relationship that can progress naturally. These are two people who have very unique and complicated backgrounds.. They are not two sweet innocent kids having a normal relationship. Jason has sustained extensive brain damage, which has left him with memory loss, a personality shift, and impaired cognitive functions. He does not see the world as the average person does. He is struggling to make sense of his new reality, and is having a hard time knowing how to relate to people who he is supposed to love but does not even remember. His code of conduct as well as his moral code has taken a huge hit. And to top it all off, he is subject to fits of rage, which he is struggling to control. Robin is one of the few people who have not put expectations on Jason. Most of them are so deep in their own loss and pain, that they don’t seem to see his struggle. They don’t get that his previous beliefs, desires, and dreams were stripped away with his memories. They can’t seem to grasp that he feels no connection to them. But Robin, perhaps because of her recent loss and pain, recognizes the same thing in him that she is feeling. Robin has had to grow up way too fast. Even before she lost Stone, she had lived a unique life and had suffered many losses. It had exposed her to criminal life, so she was comfortable with Jason’s and Sonny’s world if not approving of it. Her HIV has also given her a different prospective on life. She could understand not having longtime goals and living life in the moment. They discussed things young people their age usually don’t talk about, heavy, dark things. And they know that their prospects for long lives is not good. But each wants it for the other if not themselves. Jason and Robin are not like other young couples, falling in love naturally and making plans for the future with a home and family. They don’t know if they will ever have that. They realize the odds are against them. And where most young couples are anticipating and exploring their burgeoning sexual desires, Jason and Robin have to be very careful and restrained when it comes to sex. That takes a toll on elation ships. And you have to remember that Robin is not all that removed from the terrible death of someone she loved with all her heart, and Jason has no experience with love at all. He is just flying on instinct so to speak. Jason struggles to verbalize how he feels, and Robin is terrified she will infect Jason. Of course, at times, they are going to appear distant and unresponsive. And passion is something they have to be careful about, something they have to keep under control. Their relationship is not progressing naturally. They are under a great deal of strain, trying to understand and respect the other’s feelings. I don’t see a lack of chemistry at all. I see two people struggling to overcome obstacles that circumstances have placed in their way. Their behavior is more of a believable view of their relationship, than to expect a regular progression like their lives were normal. That would be unrealistic. I think the writers and the actors portrayed the realities of a complicated situation brilliantly.
